AFCAT 2 2017 Result Date, Result on Careerairforce.nic.in

For all the candidates who appeared for the AFCAT Exam 2017, are eagerly waiting for the results. Due to the re-scheduling of the exam, there is a delay in result declaration. But soon Indian Air Force is going to declare the AFCAT 2 2017 result on Careerairforce. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official website of Indian Air Force i.e. careerairforce.nic.in, where the result will be uploaded in the PDF format.

AFCAT 2 2017 Re-Exam


AFCAT 2 2017 Exam was scheduled to be conducted on 27th August 2017 by the Indian Air Force. Most of the candidates successfully appeared for the exam on the prefixed date. However, due to the unhealthy environment in Haryana and adjacent states, some of the candidates were not able to attend the AFCAT Exam. So, Indian Air Force proposed a secondary date and re-scheduled the exam on 16th September 2017.

Due to the execution of AFCAT Exam twice, the result declaration time has also been increased by the Exam controller department of Indian Air Force.

Based on this data, it will be hard to predict AFCAT 2017 Cut-off. However, we can assume that this time, the AFCAT 2 2017 cut-off can reach up to 150 (not perfectly sure). This can be further verified after the result declaration.

Some Important Dates about AFCAT 2 2017 Exam:


Date of Exam: 27th August 2017

Date of 2nd Exam (Supplementary Exam): 16 September 2017

Expected Date of AFCAT 2 2017 Result: First Week of October 2017

Well, the expected date is not yet notified by the Indian Air Force. But as it takes nearly 10-15 days by Indian Air Force to declare the AFCAT Result, it is expected to be declared in the first week of October 2017.

How to Check AFCAT 2 2017 Result:


To check your Result status, all the candidates are required to follow the given below procedure.

  • The result will be only published on the official website i.e. careerairforce.nic.in
  • Now, the candidate will be required to Login. They can see the Login options on Candidate’s Login page.
  • In your dashboard, you can easily check AFCAT 2 2017 Cut-off marks and your score. This can help you acknowledge, whether you have cleared the exam or not.
  • You can check your AFCAT 2 2017 Result as well as EKT 2 2017 Exam Result which will be collectively important for the Technical Stream of Indian Air Force.

However, there is confusion whether Indian Air Force will declare the result candidate wise or will uploaded via PDF on the mail website. In case AFCAT 2 2017 Result is declared on the mail website, you can easily download the PDF and check your roll number. If you are shortlisted for the AFSB Interview, you will find your name in the PDF.

What after AFCAT 2 2017 Result Declaration?


So, after the AFCAT 2017 result declaration, the selected candidates will be allowed to login in their candidate’s dashboard and select the AFSB Center and dates. You will also be provided with the option to generate your SSB Admit Card that is required to be carrier at the SSB Center.

Along with the AFCAT 2017 Admit Card you will be required to carry your educational certificates and other mentioned documents. All the documents will be verified after getting selected in the first stage of SSB (Screening).
