CDS 1 2018 Exam Pattern:
The CDS 1 2018 Exam was held in three stages. In Stage-I, English exam was held. The time duration of this exam was 2 hours. This exam was followed by the Stage-II, General Knowledge Exam which was also a 2-hours paper. The last paper was of Mathematics, which was also held for 2 hours. There was a gap of one (1) hour in between each paper.
For candidates who were eligible for OTA vacancies, only first two exams (English and General Knowledge) were compulsory. The Mathematics exam was not for those who applied for only OTA.
About CDS 1 2018 Exam
The CDS 1 2018 Exam was held by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). This is the second CDS Exam which was conducted by the UPSC. The CDS Exam is conducted twice every year. What is CDS 1 2018 Sectional Cutoff?
To clear the CDS Exam, it’s compulsory to get at least 20% marks in each subject. It means out of 100 marks, it’s mandatory to get 20 marks to clear the sectional cutoff. Once you have achieved more than sectional cutoff, the final cutoff will be decided by the UPSC. The final CDS Exam Cutoff will depend upon the number of applicants and number of vacancies.

- For Indian Military Academy: 102 Marks in Written Exam and 225 in Final Recommendation
- For Indian Naval Academy: 75 Marks in Written Exam and 206 in Final Recommendation
- For Air Force Academy: 129 Marks in Written Exam and 256 in Final Recommendation
- For Officer Training Academy: 72 Marks in Written Exam and 154 in Final Recommendation
