Most of the candidates who cleared the CDS 1 2017 were eagerly waiting for the OTA SSB center allotment for SSC (NT) 107 and SSCW (NT) 21 against their selected SSB Dates. The Service Selection Board has finally released the notification about SSB interview Centre Allotment to the shortlisted candidates.
However, both Men and Women were eagerly waiting for their OTA SSB dates, till now only SSC (NT) 107 centre allotment has been notified by the SSB Center. The SSB Dates for SSCW (NT) 21 has yet to be notified by the center.
Important Notice by Indian Army: As per the notice, all the candidates for SSC (NT) 107 and SSCW (NT) 21 are not required to carry the online application form. They are only required to take their SSB call letter along with all the necessary documents as mentioned in the Call letter.
What is The Procedure to See Your SSB Center?
To select the SSB Center Allotment, you need to follow the below format:
- Go to joinindianarmy.nic.in. Here you will be asked for the Number Captcha. Fill the unique number and go to the homepage.
- On the Homepage, you will see the option of “Officers Login” where you need to login for all the Officer Entries that you have applied for.
- After Login in, you can see the complete details of your Profile. You need the click on SSB Allotment.
- Under the SSB allotment, you will see different forms you have applied till now. Click on the SSC (NT) 107 option.
- You will be now shown the SSB Call Letter that you can easily download and check the SSB Center that has been allotted to you.
Common FAQ related to SSB Center Allotment & SSB Dates:
Question 1: How to Change the SSB Center Allotted to you?
Answer: Well, earlier it was the SSB center that provides two dates to the candidate’s i.e. Primary date and secondary date (Absentee Date) when the candidate can report to the SSB center and undergo the SSB Selection Procedure. But the center allotment has never been select by the candidate. It is given by the Center. So, you can’t change the SSB Center.
Question 2: how to change SSB Dates?
Answer: After Indian Army has transformed their offline procedure to the online platform, they have allotted the SSB dates selection to the candidates. The Indian Army releases the notification about the time range in which selected candidates can select the SSB dates. However, due to the excessive count of SSB candidates, only one date selection is offered. The concept of Absentee is not present (basically for technical Entries).
Question 3: What if you don’t have the degree?
Answer: If you are not having your graduation degree, it’s important to either ask for a Provisional cum Character certificate that can be easily received by the respective college. During the documentation verification, you can show the Provisional Certificate. However, if possible prefer to get your degree along with all the other educational documents mentioned in the call-up letter.
Question 4: What about Traveling Allowance for SSB?
Answer: Well, with the increase in the number of entries, the format of traveling allowance for SSB has also been changed. The initial format of SSB traveling allowance was that a candidate was given TA for each entry, for the first time. This means that TA for SSB was given on the basis of Officer Entry. But now the provision has changed to Commission level. Now the TA is given to the candidate on the basis of permanent/short service commission, for the first time only.
