AFCAT 2 2018 Result Date, SSB Interview Dates & Important Instructions

AFCAT 2 2018 was successfully conducted on 18th and 19th of August. Lacks of aspirants attended the exam and are looking forward to join Indian Air Force as a commissioned officer. With the completion of AFCAT Online Exam 2018, the aspirants are eagerly waiting for AFCAT 2 2018 Result and are surfing the internet vigorously for the same. The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) Result 2018 will be declared on the official website of AFCAT i.e. afcat.cdac.in. The result will be released for both AFCAT Written Exam as well as EKT Exam.

AFCAT 2 2018 Result Date:

After the completion of AFCAT written exam, CDAC will take at least 15 days to examine the papers and conduct the marking of each candidate. Based on the number of vacancies and the number of applicants, AFCAT 2 2018 Cut Off marks will be finalized. On the basis of AFCAT cut off marks, the candidates will be shortlisted for SSB Interview.

How to Check AFCAT 2 201 Result:

The Result for AFCAT 2018 has not been released yet, but it is expected to be released in the first week of September. So, all the candidates should know how can they check their AFCAT 2018 Result and check their marks in AFCAT Exam as well as EKT Exam.

  • Go to the official website of AFCAT i.e. afcat.cdac.in
  • Click on AFCAT 2 2018 Result Link.
  • You will be asked to Login using your registered Email and Password.
  • Your result will be displayed on the screen along with your individual marks in AFCAT and EKT respectively.
  • You can take the print out of your result for future reference.

All the successful candidates who clear the AFCAT written exam will be called for SSB in Indian Air Force SSB Centre.  Currently, there are 4 AFSB centres of IAF:

  • 1 AFSB Dehradun: (Uttarakhand)
  • 2 AFSB Mysore: (Karnataka)
  • 3 AFSB Gandhi Nagar: (Gujrat)
  • 4 AFSB Varanasi: (Uttar Pradesh)

How to Choose SSB Dates for AFCAT 2 2018:

All the candidates who are successful in clearing the AFCAT written exam will be called for SSB. But before that, they will be allowed to choose their SSB Centre and dates as per the availability.

  • The Candidates need to login before selecting the SSB Dates for AFCAT 2 2018.
  • After you Log in, you see the Select SSB Dates option in your dashboard.
  • You will be shown all the available dates and AFSB Centres which you can select as per your availability.
  • You should keep in mind that date once selected can’t be changed later. So, select your SSB Interview dates wisely.

As there are numerous candidates applying for a particular date, you might face issues while selecting the SSB Dates and AFSB venue of your choice. But you should keep on trying until your dates are selected and you receive the Email as well as SMS about your SSB Dates.
