UPSC has finally released the final CDS 2 2020 OTA Merit List that encompasses the names to total 192 Candidates who will join Officers Training Academy, Chennai. Out of Total 192 recommended candidates, 141 are male candidates and 51 are female candidates.
The number of vacancies as intimated by the Government, for (I) 114th Short Service Commission Course (for Men) is 169 and for (II) 28th Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) Course is 17.
The CDS 2 2020 OTA merit list enlist (*141 + ^51 ) candidates who have finally qualified on the basis of the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2020 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission and Interviews held by the SSB for admission to the (i) *Officers Training Academy, Chennai, for 114th Short Service Commission Course (NT) (for Men) and (ii) ^Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 28th Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) Course, commencing in October, 2021.

The list of 114th Short Service Commission Course (NT) (for Men) also includes the names of the candidates who were recommended earlier on the basis of the result of the same examination for admission to Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course(s).
CDS 2 2020 OTA Vacancies
As per declaration released by the UPSC, the government has intimated a total count of 169 Posts for 114th SSC (Men) (NT) and 17 Posts for 28th SSC Women (NT).
Important Instructions for Merit-in Candidates:
Along with the final merit of CDS 2 2020 OTA, UPSC has also released some important instructions for the recommended candidates. Read the information and instructions given below:
- The results of Medical Examination of candidates have not been taken into account in preparing the merit list. The candidature of all the candidates is Provisional. Verification of Date of Birth and Educational Qualification of these Candidates will be done by Army Head Quarter.
- The verification of Date of Birth and Educational qualification of the recommended candidates are still under process by the Army Headquarter.
All the candidates can check their CDS 2 2020 Final Merit Results on the official website of UPSC i.e. www.upsc.gov.in. Currently, only the names of recommended candidates have been released by the UPSC. The marks scored by the merit in candidates will be released after the whole process of selection is complete. The declaration for final results for Officers Training Academy is yet to be released for CDS 2 2020.
