Military Academies in India for Officers [Infographic]

To train the men of Indian Military Services for the warfare and teach them military standards. Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force have established multiple Military Academies in India. Among them, a few are specially established to make Permanent/Short-Service commissioned officers ready for the warfare alongside teaching them the strategy and associated technologies. The Military Academies specially made for the Officers of Indian Defence Forces include:

• National Defence Academy (NDA), Pune
• Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun
• Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai
• Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gaya
• Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala
• Air Force Academy (AFA), Dundigal
