About Baalnoi Academy
Baalnoi Academy is an SSB Coaching Academy headquartered in Delhi. It was established in the year 1997 with the aim of reforming and transforming defence education. Since its establishment, (24+ years) academy have grown from pillar to post and have contributed over 16,000 officers to the Indian Defence Forces. The SSB Coaching Academy in Delhi always strives to make students educationally armed, physiologically and psychologically developed. Baalnoi Academy continues to be guided by the ethos even at times of the Covid-19 pandemic.
There is a difference between dream , desire & deserve .we have helped nearly 14000 students’ to help their dream desire of joining the Defence forces. Every unit of Indian Defence forces has at least 4 officer ex Baalnoi. This is the only Academy where one of the Instructor (Lt Taranjit singh – Son of Major Hardeep Singh Kalsi) is a serving TA officer. The academy punch reality, experience & practicality during training.
About Major Hardeep Singh Kalsi
Major Hardeep Singh Kalsi is a 2nd Generation Army Officer. His father Late Wg Cdr Harjendra Singh Kalsi served the Indian Air Force between 1950-1980. During his exemplary service in the 1965 Indo-Pak War, he was decorated with Vashist Seva Medal (VSM).
Major Hardeep Singh Kalsi is an alumnus of National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla. He passed out from the Indian Military Academy in Dec 1981 and was commissioned into 9th Battalion, The Rajputana Rifles. During his training at NDA, he earned his Boxing Blue.
In the capture of Siachen Glacier (OP MEGHDOOT) in 1984, he was involved as a high risk mission officer. He served as Weapon Training Officer at the Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre and Group Testing Officer (GTO) at Selection Service Board Allahabad between 1993 -1996. He also commanded the Rajputana Rifles marching contingent during the Republic Day Parade in 1990.
Major HS Kalsi today heads Baalnoi Academy, which trains students for the Defence forces. The Academy has made a name for itself and today every unit of the Indian Defence Forces has atleast 3-4 officers who have been trained at Baalnoi Academy.
