Indian Military Academy Passing Out Parade 12th June 2021 – LIVE

Indian Military Academy (IMA) Passing out Parade 2021 will be held tomorrow at the Chetwode Hall. A total of 341 Indian and 84 foreign Gentlemen Cadets will have their final march from IMA to join their respective defence forces. The IMA Passing Out Parade symbolizes the culmination of rigorous training and transformation of a cadet into a young officer.

IMA Passing out Parade Without Parents

Last year, for the first time in its history, the IMA held a passing out parade without parents due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Following the same trend, the parents of the cadets will not be allowed to participate in the parade in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor’s Parade

In the run-up to the Passing Out Parade (POP) scheduled to be held at the Indian Military Academy on June 12, the Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor’s Parade was conducted on 8th of June 2021.

The parade was reviewed by Maj Gen JS Mangat, Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor of the Indian Military Academy. He complimented the cadets and encouraged them to strive for professional excellence. He also emphasized the importance of valor, honor, ethos, and fine traditions of Indian Army.

On 31st May 2021, National Defence Academy Passing Out Parade also held at NDA Khadakwasla, Pune.
