So here the UPSC has rung up the alarms for all young armed forces aspirants. UPSC has released the admit cards of the NDA 1 2019 examination and the exam would be conducted at mentioned centers on 21st April 2019. The candidates who have passed the 12th class or have appeared in the 12th board exams would be eligible for the exam. The examination is majorly based on the syllabus of the 11th and 12th standard. But it needs a strategic approach to go up to the level of selection.
Syllabus for NDA 1 2019 Written Exam
The NDA 1 2019 written exam will contain 2 papers; paper 1 consist of mathematics paper and paper 2 has English and general studies. So, let’s have a look at these sections.
Mathematics: Mathematics constitutes around half of the paper and is the part that judges the selections. It is the first paper and is a big hurdle for the students who don’t have mathematics as a subject in the 11th and 12th standard.
English: 50 questions of English are compiled in the second paper of the exam. The section contains passages, antonyms, synonyms, error detection and sentence rearrangement questions. These questions are just to check the basics of the student in the English language. For appearing in this section, the candidate needs to start reading the newspaper and thoroughly go through the grammar and get a good hold over vocabulary that is generally used in the Hindu newspaper.
General Studies: This section of the exam is the widest and complex part. It is compiled in such a way that candidate from every field i.e. Arts, Commerce and Science would get sufficient questions from their subjects. But it is advised to the candidates to extend their knowledge from their respective subjects to get more marks.
Non-medical students studying in English medium would get a better chance in the exam. While other needs to boost them in the section they are lacking in i.e. Mathematics and English. Those who are preparing for engineering competitive exams would be benefited more in the exam. But perseverance and consistency is the ultimate plan to achieve your target.

What After NDA Exam?
