Everything About Selection Centre Central Bhopal (SSC Bhopal)
Selection Centre Central (SCC) Bhopal is a selection center where candidates are recommended for Indian Army and Navy. Currently it runs with three SSB Board i.e. 20 SSB, 21 SSB and 22 SSB for Indian Army and 33 SSB for Indian Navy. SSC Bhopal is blessed with all the essential amenities required for easy accommodation of the candidates during stay at SSB. Candidates of CDSE, NDA, Naval entries are generally tested in SSB Bhopal.
History of SSC Bhopal
Selection Centre Central Bhopal was established in October 1975 after relocating 20 SSB & 33 SSB from Jabalpur. Later 22 SSB was moved at Bhopal in 1976. Before Bhopal, 22 SSB was raised at Meerut in Nov 1962, and subsequently re-raised at Roorkee in Apr 1971. Till 1st June 2003, centre functioned with three Boards. Post June, 21 SSB was raised under the SSC Bhopal.
SSC Bhopal is located in the area of Sultania Infantry Lines, Bhopal Military Station. It has a close proximity with Bhopal Railway Station and Raja Bhoj Airport. Currently, the center is has an all new KLP accommodation that is build with an attractive architectural design. The The Selection Centre Bhopal has a completely new infrastructure with modern facilities for the conduct of testing, accommodation, dining and recreational facilities for the candidates.
How to Reach SSB Bhopal
Bhopal is connected by Rail, Road and Air with major cities of India. The SSB centre Bhopal is just 5 km away from Bhopal railway station. If you are traveling via bus, it will take 10-15 minutes to reach the SSB center from Shahjahanabad Bus station, Bhopal. Moreover, it will take 15-20 minutes if you are arriving by air (Raja Bhoj Airport).
