Indian Army has released the official notification for the NCC Special Entry Scheme -44th Course- October 2018. The applications for NCC 44 Special Entry Scheme are invited from male and female candidates (unmarried) to join the Indian Army as Short Service Commissioned Officer. The wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel are also invited to apply for the entry.
Eligibility for NCC 44 Special Entry Scheme:
Age Limit: For eligible candidates, the age limit is between 19 to 25 years. The candidates whose date of birth lies between 2 July 1993 and 01 July 1999 are eligible to apply for NCC 44 Special Entry Scheme. Both the mentioned dates are inclusive of the notification.

How to apply for NCC 44 Special Entry:
All the interested candidates are required to fill the online form associated with their personal ID on the career portal of Indian Army i.e. http://joinindianarmy.nic.in/
Step-I of Application:
The interested candidates are required to sign in on the official website using their email and phone number. They will be provided with a login ID and password that will be required to apply for the NCC 44 Special Entry Scheme as well as other future vacancies in Indian Army.

Step-II Form Submission:
After you log in with the given login ID and password, you will be required to apply for the notified vacancy under NCC 44 Course. There you will be required to fill your personal details, qualification details along with the Photo and signature upload.

Once you completed the online form filling, you will be required to save the PDF copy of the form for future reference.
For Wards of Battle Casualties:
Applicants category of Wards of Battle Casualties are required to send their applications in prescribed format duly filled, by post to Directorate General of Recruiting I Rtg-A, NCC Entry, West Block-Ill, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066 on or before 15-02-2018.
Important Point about NCC 44 Special Entry Scheme:
All the candidates are only required to apply via online mode no offline mode of applications will be entertained by the Indian Army. The candidates are required to keep in mind that they can apply for one of the below given SSB Interviews:
- CDS Entry: SSC (NT)-108 Course (October 2018) / SSC (NT) (Women)-22 Course (October 2018)
- NCC 44 Special Entry Scheme (October 2018)

- The online application will start from 11-01-2018
- Last date of online application: 08-02-2018.
- Last date of online application (For category of Wards of Battle): 15-02-2018
