Followed by the final decision of Supreme Court, UPSC has reopen the NDA 2 2021 application form window for women candidates. Only unmarried women candidates can fill the NDA 2 2021 application form. The physical standards and number of vacancies for women candidates will be notified by UPSC after receipt from the Ministry of Defence soon. The last date to fill the NDA application form 2021 for women candidates is October 8, 2021 (6 PM).

Age Limit for Girls
The female candidates must be born between 2nd Jan 2003 and 1st Jan 2006. Both the dates are included by the UPSC. Your matriculation certificate will be considered as the valid proof for your Date of Birth.

Education Qualification
Candidates applying for Indian Army Wing of National Defence Academy should be either appearing or have passed their 12th standard from a recognized board. However, for Indian Navy and Air Force, the candidate must pass the 12th standard with physics and Mathematics as the primary subjects.

Number of Vacancies for Women Candidates for National Defence Academy
At present, female aspirants do not have any special vacancies in the NDA 2 2021 Notification. NDA 2 2021 will have a total of 400 seats (for Men & Women) as mentioned in the notification. 370 to include 208 for Army, 42 for Navy, and 120 for Air Force (including 28 for ground Duties). 30 for Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme).

After women are allowed in the NDA, the competition will definitely increase and only the best 400 men and women will be able to make it to the National Defence Academy for the 148th Course, and for the 110th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd July, 2022.
How Girls can Apply for NDA 2 2021?
- Step 1 – Visit UPSC official website – upsc.gov.in.
- Step 2 – In the ticker on the homepage click on “National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2021 (Scheduled on 14.11.2021) – Only for Women Candidates”.
- Step 3 – A new window will open, consisting of the dates and part 1 and part 2 links to register.
- Step 4 – Complete the NDA registration process and then move to the next step.
- Step 5 – Submit the NDA 2 2021 application form online.
